Architectural sports facility by commercial builders Ocean Grove

While technically a refurbishment, the project was near-new in scope, with just one wall and part of the original slab remaining after demolition.

The new build features a complete range of upgraded spaces, including new bathrooms, change rooms, a commercial kitchen and kiosk, a bar with a cool room, and multiple storage areas. The internal fit-out was delivered to a standard well above typical community sports clubs, with finishes that reflect the club’s ambition and long-term vision.

The 35-metre composite deck overlooks the tennis courts and is protected by a galvanised steel cantilevered skillion roof with marine ply soffits and integrated suspended bar heaters — blending aesthetics with function.

• Soft landscaping that integrates the building with the surrounding environment
