This multi-year development included large-scale civil works and the construction of 20 new apartments — all completed within a live, operational retirement village.
Stage one began with the demolition of six ageing houses, including the safe and compliant removal of asbestos materials.
Stage two followed with the removal of outdated electrical and plumbing infrastructure, replaced by all-new underground services for power, communications, sewer, water, and stormwater, ensuring the site was ready for future development.
Stage three comprised significant civil works. This included a site-wide cut and fill, construction of new internal roads, parking hardstands, and a stormwater retention basin with connecting infrastructure. The scale of this work laid the foundation for the fourth and final stage.
Stage four involved constructing four two-storey residential buildings, housing a total of 20 retirement living apartments. Built to aged care and retirement living standards, each building features five fire-separated apartments with central lobbies and lifts to the upper levels. The one- and two-bedroom apartments were finished with modern, light-filled interiors, private laundries, and outdoor living areas, creating comfortable and functional homes for residents.
